CALCULATE YOUR SAVINGS USING BIOHEATER VS. ELECTRICITY
WITH THE CALCULATOR BELOW
NOTE: YOU CAN FILL IN YOUR LOCAL ELECTRICITY/DIESEL PRICES IN THE CALCULATOR
EXAMPLE OF CONSUMPTION
- Hot tub volume: 1500L
- Heating time from +7 °C to +38 °C takes about 2 hours, of which about 1 hour of water filling. During this time, consumption is 2 L per hour. Consumption = about 4 l biodiesel or diesel
* Standard 10A connection
** Tested from +7°C to +38°C in two hours
*** 1x16A (3kW), 3x10A or 3x16A connection adds to cost if not existing
Note! The thermostat switches off the burner when the desired temperature has been reached, so that the heater does not consume any fuel. When the heat drops by 2-4 °C (adjustable), the heater restarts and it only takes a little while until the desired temperature is reached again. Therefor, consumption is also low and the use of the hot tub is economical.
If you wish, you can lower the temperature to +10°C if you do not use the hot tub/pool continuously. It saves energy.
